7-4-33? Rhemannia faemila Turra. Cote I276, Box 64, SV#I 446 ♀ FL Jaman. Either on rocks or north aide of peak or along road toward lakes. P.R.K. seems to remember it as clinging to rocks but can not be sure. The almost tungo (2 ½ ins) collected suggest this was true. I see with 7 pairs of side nerves, some what curved. Calyx lobes triangular, 2mm high while tube 1mm. Calyx green. Petals rudimentary or none. Largest if good 19x4 mm but pet's not full grown. 7-4-33 Veronica apicata L. Cote IHI 40, Box 234. BV#H 345 BV#I 246 # 266 BV# CP 671, SV#I 592. Very early but Jaman (past dente Jaman) Plant now 6 in high. Stkfl 2cm, the stems long-ciliate subtending bracts making a loose cone effect. Calyx lobes ciliate with long similar cilia. No other possibility [9-2-33 FL example for Jaman on path encircling Ode] to northward just where it turns to descend. The 7-4-33 spec may have come from same spot]
