Villeneuve-Bouveret (not with M caespitosa near pier at Villeneuve) The rooting base, stems with spreading bases longer style make ident sure. St not noticeably angled but the size of fls(as remembered feel) seems to preclude ssp caespititia SVTI. 6-28-33 Alnus glutinosa Gaertn. Cates # 247, Bon 289, BVH 418, SVTI 197 = A. vulgaris Hill. G 337, BMDCP 329 rofl frs. Villeneuve but this unidentable. [Seen frequently in all stages. Villeneuve-Bouveret. 7-1-34 Europe fr. RK Chf des Narcisses -> Leaf wants shortly beyond stubble elm] 6-28-33 ?? Potamogeton lucens L. Cates III 421, Bon 364 BVH 442, G 74, SVTI 31 rofl frs Villeneuve-Bouveret (Only upper 1/2 in collected). L to 5 1/2 x 1 1/4 in with 3-4 nerves each side. Fruit Acute each end. Mucronate at tip. Short petioled. Shining even when dry. Very finely v distantly fothed(20x) and ruffled on edge. Stipules to 1/2 in long.
