SVI I 407, BVH II/128 = L. major Serp. BVH 121. Brig. In
marsh with Lyperis. Fl. with L. corniculatus h.
Plant has a distinct look due is its larger, round
spared lfts and general more robust, glabrous and
succulent lobes. Roots creeping. Stems hollow and
the curled back reddish tips of calyx lobes in very
young buds very marked. All (Brisgood except
that tips or as whole calyx) are glabrous.

La Frangette. Lfts lanceolate, the central lft on
upper les 13 mm x 3-4 mm, the lateral lfts and
stipules only slightly smaller and about equal
to each other. 2t stip (don't remember whether
decurrent) Peduncles to 4 in. Infl of 1-5 fls. The
stip effect & stv general look was quite suggestive
(on looking for contents of box) of Lathyris pratensis
rather than Lotus corniculatus.
* lfts of the very lowest lvs small vobovate.
Much like BVH II/129 except not branded near base.
