6-28-33 distantly placed on st. well overlap the internodes & give the idea of appearance. Petal distinctly yellow w/ the base brown net-veining with cros. Calyx glabrous except at very tips of sepals which (esp in bud) have a few lax rather crumpled hairs. Pedicels 5-7mm neither strout nor slender. Calyx 10mm. Young fr glabrous, 15 mm over all pedicle 8mm is beak. Beak now 1 1/2 mm wide at base, very flat tapering gradually to tip. The rest of the pod is + quadrangular. Sepals fall at same time as petals. If not E. astiva prob one of the adv. sp. given SDK II /30 i.e. E stenocarpa, Boiss or Ruter or E. cappadocica Ruter. 6-28-33 Veronica Anagallis L. Cote III 32, Bon 235 = V. Anagallis-aquatica L.
