the books (except H) and ill Categod. It does indeed
suggest a Panicum.

Corolla lobes decidedly not flat, 2-3mm at tip.
lobes only a little more than 1/2 as long as rest of corolla.
Colyx teeth longer than corolla tube. Plant cfd with
M. silvatica J 5-5-34 in same region and with
one of the small fl. M J thin (as desc 4-7-34) and
no diff other than those mentioned above found.
R.B.N suspects the size and concavity of Corolla
