A 734 and in Barbaea Odontites Huds BVH 350
Fl. near Viola triolor. Plants (seem fullgrown) 15-25
cm high, apparently simple but about branches
are appearing small lf-axile. Longest lf is 29 x 5
mm. Certainly not narrowed at base, with 4 or
5 def. but shallow teeth on each side. Bracts similar
+ length of flo. Lvs not reflexed. Calyx 7 mm long &
which 3mm forms the lanceolate teeth. Other-
wise much as in O. serotina Reich. J 8-19-31.

The tall branching plants look glabrous & shining
but base of at a lower lf (20x) show the very small
branching hairs. 5-25-34 Fl v fz. Same place. Note the
partition wall in parts. Show plainly the 2 longitudinal
nerves exp. toward top 1/2. SVKI FL 24mm, pedicel 13 mm.
long.
