4-27-34 Arenaria serpyllifolia L. Cote I 209 Box 50, BVH 71, IIII #99, H 386, SVK I 246. FLV very young fr. Prd at Union R R station (just, nearby) Sts (many from base) to 12 cm high. largest lvs 10x7mm def. ovate. Sepals 4mm long. Petals def. shorter. Pelicles [?] H? 9mm, showing distinctly in the folk infl. 4-27-34 ?? Arenaria leptoclados Hers Cote I 209 BVH IIII #99, H 380 = A. serpyllifolia L. sp leptoclados Rose v. Fone. SVK I 246. FLV very young fr. Union R.R. station. Whole plant much more delicate in effect than above. Sts seem about half the diam. before many plants [?] are st. only; others with several from base but most, more than 6cm high. largest lf 5x2mm hence hardly ovate. Sepals 4mm long Petals def. shorter (in this respect very like above) Sepals have effect of being macroura, more slender, rippled than above (but this may be because they are more definitely white margined.) Pelicles [? H] not more than 3mm & infl not having def cystely frbed effect. Fruit too young to help much. ?d defin tature [?] vary noticeable. But vary in this is strong whereas in A. ser - it is more or less regular (more clearly) but they seem equally enlarged at base.
