3-31-34 Primula.
? P. vulgaris Huds X P. veris L. Fl. See BVH 300, BVH
II 244, SVK II 269. Is abruptly narrowed to
partite as in P. veris var infl. umbellata as in P. veris
Pulverences on stalk & calyx more as in P. veris
(its finer almost not shaggy as in P. vulgaris). Calyx
nearly as in P. vulgaris i.e def. angled and green
on the angles but calyx sometimes slightly in
flated 'end teeth midway between the short wide
teeth of P. veris and the long decuminate teeth of
P. vulgaris. Corolla more nearly that of P. vulgar
is but slightly darker, less flat and limb
with less diameter. These seem frequent about
Chon but varying in their resemblances to their
parents [Pos. P. elatio Jacq. See 4-4-34]

several plants
(Rusch) SVK II 269. Fl. Val-Mont on bank to west entrance
of 3rd fl. These may belong with the hybrids desc. above
but shaped loe, haryiness of st. and calyx, in fact
everything except the stalked (at all to 2 3/4 in) are
like V. vulgaris. Note however that while P. vulgaris
hereabouts has a simple notch in corolla lobes,
these plants have a notch with 1 or 2 or 3 very
