SVK I 458. Fl. Glim hillsides. Identical to SVKI by
(1) the thin runners which root & bear
new plants, (2) the leaves at least the lower ones more nearly
circular than in V. lutea L. (3) spur thick, (4) bracts
tending to be above the middle. General effect of fol-
iage is darker & brighter than V. lutea and more
nearly globose. Peduncles not glabrous (as per Costa)
but hairs short & clusendent together than in V. lutea.
Rootstock very like ill (Costa). Stipules broad with blunt
fringe.

Fl. Glim hillsides. Rootstock woody with many woody
branches (ill Cost. shows only one branch). Leaves grayer
and more oval & pointed than in V. odorata. Spurs
much thinner & finer with a little upward bend & a
hook at the end. Bracts tend to be below the middle.
Stipules much as in V. odorata.

Fl. Glim hillsides. Rootstock much as in V. odorata
but the runners rather thicker & not rooting.
Plant def. hairy. Stipules narrow with long fringe and
with hairs on edges as well.
