Lvs much more glaucous & thicker than plant as remembered at H. Mx & Nfld. Ligule achenes w/def crown not always com- plete. This suggests L. subglaucum de Lamarck. Cote # 341 (not mentioned in the manuals I hence paid little in C. I--) But both lbs not abso- utely regular. Heads 4 1/2-6 cindian [considered as p] sp montanum Gandin SV#I 685 5-31-31 Hieracium murorum L. Cote # 473, Bon 194, RV# 378, GT#74 Fl. Clin. Common. St to 30 in high. Heads 9-2 doz main st. w/ about 6-9 on the branches from axil of the 1 leaf near top of St. (common plants sometimes bear 2 such lbs branches) Basal pedicels chaggy with long white hairs, and often reddish.
