4-11-31 Anemone Pulsatilla L. Cote I 42 Box 5 BVH 5, BM.C.P. 275 Bought in Monkeuxao "growing wild near-by" Flowering etc. only. Sepals very dark dull bluish-purple. The many linear seg. involved to make very narrow cup at base (AMCIP 394) 4-12-31 Lathyrus vernus, Bernh. Cote I 401 = L. — Wimmes Box 27. Fl. Blion. Lfts ovate lanceolate long acuminate (veins evident) shining below but hardly so above. St. def. led. Petals first not winged, longer than sepules. Roots with no evident tubercules. (See 5-2-31) 4-24-34 L. often with 4 pr. lfts [SVK ssp"zeltii"] * 4-15-31 Helleborus foetidus L. Cote I 46, Box 9, BVH 13 Fl. Blion. Bracts often divided at tip as in ell BVH Old strong but hardly felid. (Observed in fl 3-24-31) Petals usually 5, widest fht. 1/3 in. * 4-15-31 Mercurialis perennis L. Cote III 244, Box 282 BVH 469 Fl. ? and ?. Blion. Note: lvs which look shining glabrous are really slightly pubescent v-ciliate with each interned tooth tipped with white gland. (Observed in fl 3-24-31)
