Oleaceae with clusters of small white fragrant fls axillary, longest pedicel ¼ in or others much shorter (Consider poss Camelliaea) lvs very firm oleathery, yellowish green v some- what shining above, paler v dull beneath. Both sides w/ minute dark dots (20x). lvs 3-4½ in x 1 to 1½ in. oblong, tapering about equally to both ends, edge firm cartilagenous. Calyx whitish into lobe more or less jagged or toothed.
