10-22-31? Artemisia Absinthium L. Cote II 320. Bon 165, G 856, BM & CP 725, SVI 688 Fl. Cult in border of Grand Hotel Les Avants. Seems to agree with all ideas. Except that heads are ½ in diam. I no. v st. all very white, except a few hairy, some outer florets & only, outer invol. bracts linear v not scarious while inner bracts are slightly broad, shorter, very obtuse v broadly scarious. Segs of the flores v by no means filiform [8-19-34 Fl. same apart must be A. Absinthium L. Head now ½ in diam.] 11-4-31 Acacia — bot. Geneva. Styles white, downy. I vvo. alt. ovate entire, about 1-1¼ x ¾ in., ferrinate deined, blunt at tips. Infl ? axillary, simple racemes 2½-3½ in long with about 15-20 globular heads 3/8 in diam on stalks? about same length. Fl. yellow, fragrant. Stamens exerted (10x, hand glass) [Label specimen Acacia podalyraefolia at La Mortola 12-14-31 seems the same.]
