St with obscure rounded corners, its hairs articulate not glandular. Calyx 4-5mm, hardly glandular. defred margined, its ciliation very short. Corolla glabrous on lobe edges but upper surface (like filaments) covered with sessile glands. Filament joined for at least 1/3 their length. 8-19-31 Senecio erucifolius L. Cota #304, Bon 169, BVH 255, SVI 696 Fl very young fr. Bouveret. St hty & thistle, about striate, reddish at base, somewhat strong. Effect wand-like and tfg. Upper lobes resemble the lower lobe pairs being what remains by auricles. L of bill Cota except lobes unusually again deeply footed or lobed. 8-19-31 Odontites serotina Reick Cota #47 = Euphrasia (see — lam SVI 604. Que in O. rubra Pers Bon 238, O. rubra Kilib #1754) and line in Barlesia (Odontites) Hude BVH 350. Fl v unijug fr. Bouveret. (Very diff decide whether this or O. verna Reick = E. Odontitish sens strict.) Plant 38 cm long branched from near base with many sinfale, widely diverging & sometimes upward curved branches about 17cm long; pubescent
