(see 6-20-31) Fl. jamen & litterally dashed w/ red, petals pink nerr (except side w petals x carpels suffused pink so that general effect is far from white, tho has fallen from upright st but in all essential char same as plant on nos or walls near Montreux. 8-16-31 Gnaphalium sylvaticum L. (see 7-22-31) Fl C de jamen, Surely same s pecs 7-22-31, looks much more like Bvt all I Fig 509 than like Bvt all II Fig 215 (not at all like this) l/a 24-30cm, infl 1/4cm. l/b/ 35cm, infl 1/2.5cm, Fl head (infl) 6mm (Bvt says 5mm. 8-16-31 Achillea macrophylla L. Crate II 353, Bor 167, Bvt I 682 Fl Path jamen to C de jamen near bottom. Root not col (Crate says "rampant") but young shoots just starting at base of st. St closely puberulent. Ht 20in high, looks more or less imperfect but like all (Bor). Involved leaves pale thin, with green strips down center & from edges. Leaves w/ black lenticulate spots. Involved 5mm high, just hidden by the reflexed rays. Fl well white. [See 8-6-34] 8-16-31 Saxifraga aizoides L. (see 7-31-31) Fl jamen- C de jamen & m towards Bussell.
