at Caux-lilion. Differs from scc (Cote) in that the strong
silvery (almost wooly-looking) st is decumbent and
the leaves of (now mostly withered) are 7-8 in whk, the
lvs on the slant branches are mostly 5 in whk; and
fld at ends of these branches often very few. Plant was
growing in wall beside road & perhaps had been cut
in haying. Lvs narrow linear, glaucous green, nerv,
strong, edges strongly revolute, def rough not uniform.
pointing hairs slightly in front true edge seem to be
on edge if not counting revolute edge, fine pointed.
Corolla bell shaped; tube 1mm, lobes 2mm long. Bracts
narrow, like smaller lvs. Dried fw wrinkled. Corolla
lobes usually 4, sometimes 3. Of hwt & E. cyanodicha.
