7-31-31 Saxifraga aizoides L. Cote #138, Bon 115; BVX 173,
#446, SVX+332. Seems only from, very like ill (BVH) but
much smaller & less traveled than remembered in
NHl. St. trailing for 6 cm (so covered with remains, dead
leaves with tiny new shoot near lower end), then upright
3 cm. Lvs 8x1.5 mm, almost flat both sides, thickish,
(sparse pubescence? sparsely ciliate, marked with callus spot just below)
leaf on upper side and usually with similar
spot downedown on each edge. Fls 3. Sepalgreen.
Petals bright yellow spotted orange. Bud Neyer (see 8-167
7-31-31 Euphrasia officinalis L. Cote #42, Bon 238; BVX
357 --includes E. Rothoviana Hayne SVXI 605.
Fls emipse fr. slopes bet. Neyer & Caux. From 3cm simple
to 11 cm & branched below middle. St 1/often reddish
with short downward curved white hairs. Lvs
roots; calyx short, v not densely gland-pub. Corolla
10-12 mm, upper lip white lbe striped purple;
lower lip whitish white with yellow spot in mid-
dle & yellow throat. Considered as E. montana
and SVXI 605. this is not "entferntei"
