To 27 cm high. Branches inflorescible, stiffly erect to 2 cm or so above bracts, obovate-spheric, almost as invol- dark bract. Pers. 3 mm broad except for pale edges, cedge fine tipped, almost longer than the broad capsule. Seeds 3 mm long. 7-22-31 Thesium alpinum L. Cote III 2017, BVN 296 SVKI 205 Europe fr. Rochers de Naye. 7-22-31 Veronica aphylla L. (See 6-12-31) Fr. uncifae but capsule as desc. (Cote) 7-24-31 Linaria vulgaris Mill Cote IV 20, BVH 339, SVI 7 586 = L. — Moreuch Bon 233 = L. — Will 4119 Fl. Pd eastward from Cour. Grolla line spur 25 mm. Plant looks like one common in D.R. Plant quite glabrous (Cote, Bon, BVH, SVKI all say more or less gland-pub in infl. A says "glabrous") Pers this is var. glaberrima. Selous SVKI 297. It seems too large or not thick enough for L. italica. Few Cote IV 20, SVKI 586 not quite elsewhere
