Cate # 923, StK I 674 B.MJCP 785 & Gnaphalium Leont- podium serp. Bon 172. Both by Jean Corbett at Great St. Bernard Pass. Fl rather withered. Receptacle def. by honeycomb. Pappus thickened toward top or deeply & broadly barbed. Impossible (at S.) to as- certain that hairs are united in ring at base (Bon v B.MJCP.) Corolla yellow & paler than pappus which is about 3mm long. 7-18-31 Reseda lutea L. (see 6-10-31) Fl & unripe fr. P.P. station Territet. Pods now 1 cm long & often bent at end the seeds not yet black. 7-18-31 Parietaria Officinalis H. Cate II 247, Bon 284 B&H 414, Fl. Olion. St 2 ft high, erect with slender branches to 6 in long from lower axils; simple towards top. Lvs to 5/2 inches, equally long acum- inate at both ends. Petioles to 1 3/4 in. Bracts seem not decurrent.
