Ternuleum L. Coste #221, Bon 134, BVH 206 Except that contrary to Coste it is hollow, not swollen under
nodes, not spotted brown & lbs very shining
beneath. Fr now 8-9mm, valvate anthers, style
9mm (3 times as long as stylodium), spreading.
Drool more, bracts of involucre 8-10 ciliate but
hardly white edged. Fls (as remembered from earlier
study) white, petals glabrous. If very suggestive
gill C. ternuleum (Coste). Off with plant called
Eutlericus silvestrus Hoffm. 5-15-31. Segments
lbs much broader. It has slight pleasant
odor.
