5in high, erect yellowish slightly angled
from bases of lvs. Lvs gray-green, pubescent
esp on edges v beneath, lowest abruptly
abruptuate 2cm long, the next flaccidate.
To 4 cm long 3 nerved, the upper ones narrow
sessile. Head solitary 2.5 cendiam, rays
fluish blue, disk yellow. Involved about 9mm high.
Bracts loose in about 3 rows. Bracts hairy on
edge v pub. towards apex but more nearly
glabrous at base, tips acute. Receptacle flat
rather deeply alveolate but margins not denbte.
Rays 12 x 2.5 mm, pinched to an acute apex.
