2 or more issuing from same point (but hair too long to give starry effect.) Low, flat, 20x7mm. The 3 large sepals with 3 main veins and a +4 th near one edge, otherwise scarcions. Pretty well covered with hairs similar to those on his except on mines (searions) edge where they are smaller v starry or lacking. 6-8-31 Nebanthemum L Cult Val-Mont is compare with above. File pincle, petale yellow at base. Habit much as above. Low 15x2 mm, edges strongly revolute. St; low sepale grayish with slight close, glomantum, which is starry on sepale. This strongly suggests H. polifolium DC. Coxt I/38 Bon 36; A#H = H.— Hill Bo H 55. or perhaps a cross with above. 6-8-31 Centaurea seabraosa L. Cote II 390, Bon 180 Bo H 265; A 860 Fl. Allion Involucere 1.5 cm broad (Bon says 2 cm.) Whole plant grayish green v more or less visibly pubescent & ridged. Sterile flower tubers 3cm long.
