but veins has contrasting than in V. cucullata v other v petala without no contrasting veins. lateral petals well hended (not at all clearly) spurred petal hairs at base v other petalas sometimes with a few hairs. Spurred petal decidedly glister than lateral petala. Sepals white bordered by silcate almost to tip but auricles not white bordered or ciliate in same way (a few sparse hairs on edges). Peduncles, petioles v both delicate & lax pubescent. Sepals not markedly obtuse. Pr 259 6-11-30 Viola Fl. Mt.abor. Hairs on lateral petala clearer v veins darker than petala making same contrast as in V. cucullata (6-15-30) Shape of petals V. cucullata but sepals v pubescence ?petioles &v peduncles lilac ?V.septentrionalis. Lower petal hairy at base. Pr 260 6-11-30 Menyanthes trifoliata L. #660 BvB / X Fl. Jeffrey's Pond behind school house. Almost sight Pollen grains (84x) looked elliptic and did not show 3-angles.
