Base creeping, St to solitary upright to sin, lower leaves short pedicelled, St hirsute, all opp. Lower hs densely crenate; upper ones almost entire. Bracts narrow, oblique- rounded. St puberulent, upper parts & pedicels gland-pubescent. Pedicels longer than calyx but shorter than bracts. Calice 6mm wide; upper petal dark blue with darker veins; lower petal lighter. St. 1vs distant, larger than lower leaves. Pr. 256 6-11-30 Lonicera caerulea var. villosa T.V. & 755=L. coerulea L BVBII#281 Fl.
