(Only S. found so far in the meadow accessions from D.P.
R.B.K. suspects this is same as has been suspectedly
being S. uniligulata in 1929v1930 but now wonders
if plants there (1929v30) that to be S. uliginosa were
really diff. from this.

Knutze BUBI 348 FL. Near junceus stygium veliculos,
Exactly like dese. v little ill (BUI). Plants obtained earl-
ier in same region v at first confused with Ryneka
para fusca. Fertile h. tho not fully blown is advanced
enough to prove it has no bristles. 5$\frac{1}{2}$ to 27 in high.
Eriophorum virginicum L. G 192, BUBI 326 Fl.
The familiar heads (dense glomerule, 15mm high,
bristles tawny) leave no doubt & ident. R.B.K. most
suspects a spec. like these were mistaken for E.
Xerellum on 7-12-37 because those bears [a] bristless
