Pubescence def in lines on main part @ at. 8-25-30 Prunus pennsylvanica L J & #98, RVBII-328 Fl. Crabbs River left bank just below (a just above?) Wo 1st camp. See 6-28-29 #22 v 7-15-29 #38. Petioles often with gland at top v sometimes with 1-2 teeth like those on lvs. Teeth also rounded or back, the recurved point- ing tips often dark. Pedicel 7/8 in. 8-25-30? Pyrus arbutefolia L f v. atropurpurea Robinson #459 = Aronia atropurpurea Britton RVBI #29/ Fl. near with Betula nana. Lvs permanently (tho not densely) woolly beneath, certainly not glabrate (see 8-9-29 #21). Fls lightly honey-scented. Persistent visile at top flz. Lvs with glands 'dark thuds' &anson mid. rib abv v tips teeth dark. 8-25-30 Potentilla tridentata Curt: Sibbaldiopsis - Rydlt RVBI #262 Fl.
