(small spec. only col.) Upper leaves rounded or subcordate, at base obtuse with blunt tip, 5-17 nerved, largest 2 x 1 in. others hardly more than 1/2 as large. Stems thick & pubescently to felt) almost as firm as upper leaves, lanceolate, tapering to slender petioles 2 x 3/8 in. Peduncle much stouter than St. Consider P. Obesius Robins #72, #78176 8-10-30 Nupharcea vulgaris L.# 605 B#B # 613 Flo fr in all stages. With above. ???? 8-10-30? Potamogeton alpinus Beltr # 72, BOB I 77 with above, ? & Floating leaves 16-20 nerved, lanceolate or narrowly olate, largest 2 x 3/4+ in acute to obtuse, narrowed at base into flattened petiole 1 1/4 in long. Floating leaves sessile, lance-oblong, 3 3/4 x 3/8 in about 11-nerved.
