Meadow left bank Robinson's Bl to seaborne wild plant appressed hairs midrib beneath margins and (20x) gland dotted beneath, only lower ones with slight but def. signs ? "flocculent homentaceum" (?) Sheaths thin, striate, truncate v sometimes grey slant ciliate, upper part (?) at apex without or stalled glands. Calyx more or less gland dotted. Stamens 6. Relaxed hairs shining along the keel; 2.5 mm. anthers concave, the other more nearly flat. Sepala greenish white. Infl. Compound with general muddy like P. Persicaria. Lvs sometimes with dark spot above. Not like ill P. capitellifolia. S.F. Key (7/13) 8-10-30 Polygonum hydropiper L. A 361 = Persicaria - Opitz BrBT 670. Flo pt. Meadow left bank Robinson's Bl. 476 8-10-30 [See # 906, 6-20-37 No fl.pt. Left side Robinson's Bl near end of ford road in almost stagnant water under little bridge. Stems dark at, entirely submerged. Lvs floating, glabrous very like ill ? Ramunculus Purshii. Redbades BrBT 105 v like desc. A 395. St. rooting at nodes. Lvs mostly round or truncate at base, largest if about 2 endian but most are smaller.
