First meadow above camp 1 obsilke P. ? 7-10-29 but Stamina occasionally 3-4 are usually 5-6 (the 6th ± well developed once. St. angled. The sessile lf. which is on most of the stems is almost always well below the middle. 7-15-29 With above. Very early bud. St. 5½ in high, very slender, angled from bases of the alt. lvs., a few hairs at base otherwise glabrous. St. lfy to top. (lvs. few, 6 in all) St-lvs. narrowly oblanceolate 7/8 in x 1/2 in, 1-nerved, very long tapering to base, almost entire but with very low callosus spots like teeth (distant) & a similar callosus at blunt end. The 2 lowest lvs. (within ½ in. of base of St.) similas but broader, 3/8 in, v more def. narrowed into petioles which (like at. at this point) are sparsely hairy. Infl. panicule ter. terminal of few fls. in axile of bracts like lvs but linear. Calyx 5 lobed linear; corolla either 5-petaled or 5-lobed. Stamens 5. Ovary inferior, with 2 cells many ovules on axile.
