Bud white but since it is very small (only 1/2 in. exclusive) apus. probably this. [7-17-29 Same locus. Buds still white. Largest is 3/4in. (when freely open) from tip upper sepal to tip of lip. 7-10-29 Scirpus subrotinctus Fernald.G193=S. microcarpus Presl.BvB1335 Bud. Near above 7-16-29? Lentodor autumnalis L.G863=A pargia autumnale Hopfn BvBIII 3/6 Bud with ?Haben- aria fimbriata in tallish grass in wet spot. Cfd.with form like one col,7-6-29.1/0 to 10in upright (instead of less than 1/2 that length v flat on ground) hisute. Scape 401/2in with lf(3 3/4in long) where branched near top, but no scales toward top of scape. Invol.bracts more wooly on edges & inside of tip than in other form.
