9-5-29 Scirpus hudsonianus Fernald G190= Eriophorum alpinum L.BvBI 323F2(mostly fallen) 12th march east of Highlands Camp. Agrees with ill GvBvBudse. Seals all fallen but addresses brittle studied. Achenes, including short apiculate, tip, narrowed base is fully 1/2mm. #84 9-5-29 Muhlenbergia racemosa BSP G127, BvBI 186 Europe f2. March east of Highlands Camp. Longest panicle only 1in. Culin very slender, very rough, not smooth (BvB). Ligule very short(about .3mm inc. frunde)not 1/2line (BvB). Lemma certainly acuminate(G), mid-rib not scabrous, extending in sharp point .3 mm long. Lemma & palea similar in texture v close both sparsely v softly hairy (also haison callus). Lx2 (70X) show numerous white, short, transverse dashes. At base of panicle several florets are not fertile and seem to consist of the 2 long narrow glumes only [See 8-9-30 9-5-29 Carex lefevralis Wahl.G232, BvBI 388 F2. with above. Culin 6 in high, Δ filiform. Agrees with desc.vill. (G and BvB) but no "lowest scales"(BvB) seen.
