Transcription
with short tip, the petalo obtuse with white
hyaline margins broadened upward.
(Margins often rolled inward so as to give
effect of petal being at least acute.) Segments
sharply reddish brown or sepals greenish
on back. Plant 9 in high. Infl 3 1/2 in high.

road east of Highlands Camp. 4-6 in high. Heads 1 or
(usually) 2, sessile, axillary. Loz flat but thickish,

var acaule Fernald v Earnes of 8-31-29
