7-27-29 Rynchorpora alba Vahl G202, BvBI#343 fls fr. With Xysio Drosera. See 8-9-29. Like that in white scales, 2 stamens v the 9-11 bristles with longish upward pointing barbs at base. But bristles are not otherwise smooth (having shorter downward pointed barbs except at base). Culms no more than 5 in. (from uppermost root) very slender. Lvs almost bristle-like, channel-ed, often as long as, or slightly longer than culms. St. Often bearing buds (next yrs. growth) below lvs. & sending out root from same point. Scales rusty brown when mature. Each head seems to mature but one achene (G's). N.B. Acheine seems stipitate 1/2mm at least. Bristles do not all arise from same level
