Seems unquestionably E. v has double pappus.
Ray white, so no alternative but this unfamiliar
ras look. St. slender to 1/8 in., definitely angled
or ridged, with appressed hairs on edges, other-
wise almost glabrous. Lvs. all entire, those on
basal ?foot oblong tapering to slender foot.
coles having 3 distinct parallel nerves which
give a palm-vein-like look. Upper lvs. spatulate
to lanceolate, sessile. All more or less hairy
with short appressed hairs. Rays very many
as long as involucre, i.e. 5mm.
