BvBIII 42. Flw nearly ripe seed. Blackish marshy spots
along R.R. in front of Inn Stephenville Crossing.
Seed not rough but may be slightly wrinkled,
not as circular in outline as il (BvBI) whle
plant like lower branches filled with nodes 1/4 in or less long.

= I. Hookeri Penny BvBI 538. Unripe fr. Inn St. Crossing.
(When seen in fl. 7-19-29, this seemed same as at
mouth of Gardelvis Brook.) Capsules 1 in, thin
(cf'd with I. versicolor) 8-18-29 but seeds in all
cases not in 2 rows, irreg in a belt? about 3-4
seeds broad. Seed almost 3mm wide.
