7-19-29). But since hs. beneath are sparsely v softly
pubescent (not "canescent-tomentose") v pedicels
v young fr. more nearly tomentosa possibly
this is P. arbutifolia x A. retropurpurea Robins.
x [Dr. B. M.L. Fernald's list of June 1930 of those 1929
specimens gave "P. arbutifolia v. retropurpurea
Harp's Brook" only that, probably referring to # 21
