Prob this but panicle seems larger than expected. Lemma with awn 1mm or less inserted ⅔ distance from base sometimes slightly overtopping lemma. Spikelets 3 mm . See 8-8-30 #446 8-5-29 Anaphalis margaritacea B&H G 822, BvBII 453 or fls. R.R. track near Black Duck (No ? seen) Note; involuceral bracts have definite black band bet the greenish lower part & the white tips, not seen in in- side bract. Style is divided at summit ½ mm. Bristles roughened. 8-5-29 Castalia odorata Woods. v Wood. G 391, BvBII 79 Fl. Marsh west of F. & P. Cabin in little pond just no. 8 entrance to path. Cf with Nymphaea advena (perhaps var. variegata Fernald) from near by. [ 8-28-29 Fl. Near path bet. Highlands Camp & McClennan's Pond. Lvs 5 in. diam have notch 3 in. across. Fl. 3 in., very fra- grant. Peduncle (as pulled up) 5½ ft. Axr channels & petioles & peduncles bear starry hairs (faint) in- side
