Agrees with desc. v ill as to at. lvs & fls but at this stage, the stibbache are almost equal, the lateral ribs not at all winged. 8-31-29 Highlands Bk above Pond. Wings of achene not yet developed. 9-7-29 Immature fr. Wet meadows, No. side of Highlands Pond bet. Camps & Gale's Fr now definitely winged. 8-1-29 ?? Glycerea nervata Trin G 159 = Panicularia — Kuntze. BV B I 364. Trout Bk FL. Stamens have shed pollen & lemma & palea are closed. Seems to ans. no other desc. but not as G.n.— is remembered. Slender, 15 ½ in tall. Panicle 4 in. tall, strict. Aikiblet 2-flb, 2 mm long, lemma 1 ½ mm long, 2nd glume 1 mm. Stamens 2. Sheaths closed to tips. Perhaps var Stricta Scrub G 159.
