Ber 380, Cata III 694 Sp. Euterr in Cas Catala'gouge just gorge
northward from west gate & Rudinat - past the latter.
If 35mm overall. Rachis dark at base but def green
from mid middle (Ber v Ber, Cat to the contrary). Rachis
not at all winged & clothed (like l) seq) from base
with glandular hairs. Loner of seq truncate at
base, the upper ones slightly pointed.

Portals v Cas Catala' White, anthers pale lilac v the faint.

FL young fr. Cas Catala'gouge. This is different from
with [illegible] lower two close together past same as thought
3-30-32 to be S. subvillosa. But note that in fr only the 4 ridges
on back are armed (and points quiescent) & these projects
clearly with) the ridges on lower side of fr smooth. (or the
5th c ridge also slightly tuberculate leaving only 3 or 4
smooth beneath. Oldest fr seems to # as did for S. sub-
villosa in slope spirals in extraction set seeds.
"A" Fr almost glabrous
"B" Fr even the spines aptly pubescent
Note: The full spec 3-30-32 that then to be S.
sulcata has fr differing little if any from "A"
