Wt fr in rocks in gorge which leads northward
from west gate on road behind Bendicate. At mouth of
Carr on east side road 1/2-3/4 miles from gate. Do st.,
root not col. Habit suggests Arum family. Very grey-
green, thickish, sheathing at base with a bladeless
sheath lower all. The first two lanceolate. 7x1cm
entire. Lates two similar, larger, but hastate
with 2 [illegible] narrow very acuminate lobes at base.
This outline full size but other plants had less
larger. No help from Barcelo or Cote. Dr Schultz
had already reported finding too like this "in
the back hills"
