P.639 4-4-32 Wt fr in rocks in gorge which leads northward from west gate on road behind Bendicate. At mouth of Carr on east side road 1/2-3/4 miles from gate. Do st., root not col. Habit suggests Arum family. Very grey- green, thickish, sheathing at base with a bladeless sheath lower all. The first two lanceolate. 7x1cm entire. Lates two similar, larger, but hastate with 2 [illegible] narrow very acuminate lobes at base. This outline full size but other plants had less larger. No help from Barcelo or Cote.
