branches from lower axils not glabrous. St. now naked at base for 4 in. Lowest lfm petiole 25mm, 3 lfts (prob should be 4) naked 1/2 terminal pair measuring 10x3 mm, oblong, narrowed at base w/d 3- toothed at apex. 2 pairs 2-3 pairs lfts (often 1st missing) linear, acute 27x20 less min. All petioles ending in short awns ±1mm, upper & lower lobes shorter than internode. Stipules tiny, "semi-aciculate" with the lobes very narrow, otherwise entire. Stipules 3 lfts of flowers faintly ciliate. Flo solitary on stalks, pedicels 15-18mm ie a little longer than the petioles of lf. At pt. articulation - well above middle is a little awn of immaturity. The main st at turns out up from top of root for but an inch whereas rising erectly (but very slender (perhaps spreading are 2 sts naked till near top where they bear trifoliate lfts on upper part of main st.
