Stiff hairs on both sides and on edges giving a def. ciliate effect; edges v underneath often purplish. Midnerve only distinct but there are faint 2 (perhaps 4) lateral nerves. Skin or under side? If rather loose v inclined to peel off and is easily removed. Infla small (x3) terminal cyme with hairs slightly glandular. Pedicels 1.5-2mm. Calyx 3mm. Sepals narrow, acute, 3-nerved, scarioso only on inner margins. Developed stamens less than 10. Petals present, white, less than 1/2 length of sepals. Styles 3. Have considered all poss. in Ku v Bar. Best guess is that it is a form of A. terphyllifolia. Another Q. trineris L. was just found but its general look is not at all liked. Trineris v the unique ovules show no appendage at hilum (BvH 72). Shape of plant & erect flower suggests rather like ill. of Aldrine lanceolata MvR. Note I 201 #6/18 3-12-32 ? Eupatorium faeplum L. forme peploidis = F. peploidis Korean. Fl. Annual in salt-sandfield behind soldiers quarters. Tiny reddish plant, prostrate with branches from base to 5 cm long. Lvs 5-6 x about 4mm. Capsule seed as desc but seed 1mm long. If this is F. peploidis perhaps none of others found hitherto has been.
