8/14 3-20-33 Eileene apetala Willd. F.L. Bellver Seems exactly blue #630v#651 3-21-32 ? Vicia lursuta J.F.Hay Ku II/21, BVH/26, A536 = V.— Koch, Bon 87, Cost I 391 Craea minor Aren & Hede Bas 573. Fl. From Dr. Lord. Alleghia region. Upper ? in of plant only seen. All parts pubescent, mm- folded less calices look silvery white to eye. St def ridges & tend to be twisted & zig-zag. Stipules (esp the upper ones) deeply toothed, not spotted. Lfts 6-8 pairs, along spiculate (because of pinched tip); the largest 12x3 mm. Lower tendrils simple or bifurcate; but the upper, branched & curling. Internodes at ± 15 mm & lfts begin almost at base of petiole so that plant looks well furnished. Lvs ½-2 in long; the axillary pett withles about ¼ in., with anns 2 mm. Peduncles evidently few fld (fls had fallen) before studying. Calyx 5mm, cut half its length into subulate, equal teeth. Fls all life dull standard is straightened 7-8 mm. Standard pale blue w dark veins, wings almost white, keel white w conspicuous dark purple tips. Style not quite glabrous at summit but with node? just flairs. Ovary now (one only examined) globose. Ovules few (per lapis 3). 8/18 Sent as #826 (with spec of 4-33) to New.
