identification). If very deeply ribbed as to look
quadrandulus (rubs 4 in this space) and entirely
unlike the usual flat sword-like loo. Fls
fragrant only at night. Seems to be locally known
as "Lilios San José"

Brought by Dr Lord from Alcedia. St 1/2 in with some
flw as long. Infl (now partly bld) 2½ in, w/24-30 fls
(now dense at tip but rather lax at base). Carpels &
styles always 3. Base enlarged v bulbish (but
bulb is elongated not abruptly contracted at top)
No "tunique fibreuse entrelacée" (this might
have been destroyed in collecting). Loz(20x)
marked w/ vertical dotted lines.
