3-2-32 Eclium calycinum Viv. Knff 310, Bas 323, Bar
228, Coste #592 Fl.v young fr. Port.-Pi (this is same as
common in roadsides Tiren elsewhere) to find out
following. Low hispid (almost prickly to touch) and
look spotted in lighter color from the tubercular bases of
hairs. Middle two leaves narrowed to base, but upper
leaves are not - narrower at base but broader.
3-16-30 tend to be sub-erectate (Coste to the contrary). Lower
flo often extra-axilar, calyx de-accrecent. Corolla
light blue (but pink) 12 mm long. St. almost prickly.
Corolla 3mm high.

near fort on west side. Evidently the same as 4-18-30
& it's also covered with appressed stiff hairs some of
which are tubercular based but look soft to eye
and are soft to touch if rubbed upward not almost
prickly as other species low not spotted in effect
