long to point, division, the middle (antler-bearing) to? another 4 mm (or slightly less), the 2 lateral feet slightly longer than the middle one but hardly, if at all, overtopping the purple antlers. Pedicels at least as long as H & slightly thickening forwards top (Cote). Central flower open, the outer ones still in bud, whitish with short pedicels. Spatule persistent, short (perhaps 1 cm), now split into about 3 equal triangular parts (BoN and Cote say 2 valves). St slender & feels solid (not cut to see). Valves & vary somewhat prolonged and with 2 round lobes at top. Uvules 2 in each cell, 1 mm (or 1.5mm) long; seem large. Style rises from base & vary & is slender than stamens. Curious odor strong. 6-28-32 Vicia tetrasperma Moench var pubescens Blytt ex Dickey (See 5-5-32) Fl. Small Blau along upper entrance path. Pods pubescent. Seeds 4, globules, 2-2½ mm diam., dark olive- cast with purple or black spots. 6-28-32 Linum angustifolium Nuttall. (See 4-10-32) Fl & Fr. Field Nork Blue—Admellix. Capsule 57mm; seeds 3 mm long, without beak. See L. usitatissimum 4/10/32 6-28-33 and 8-2-33 when capsules 7mm diam & seeds 5 mm long shaped as ill. Cote.
