"Except for branches within 3 cm of base.
This is strongly suggestive of E. Campyculatum
Poir (=E. ramosum DC.) Cote III 7/14. Sheaths close
fitting except towards top of st. where a little
flaring, 4mm long without the filiform tips
(immature) which are usually hidden off. Central
cavity small. Heads oblong 8-12mm x 3-4mm, spica-
lute. Sheath teeth with white edges & hooked. Noth
black or brown in sinuses.

6-25-32 Equisetum ramosumum Def but
266 eke see above. One of my friend's labors. Stem
less slender than A, 70cm long. 20 branches at base
but a few whorles off 2-3 short branches about the
middle of the st. Sheaths similar to 'A' in fitting,
10mm long without the filiform tops (2½ mm long)
of slender sp. Teeth black with white edges. Central
cavity large exactly like ill of E. ramosumnum Def
(Cote). Head oblong 7x5mm, spiculate. 2 seeders.
10-28-30v/12-5-30 which sound more like this than
like A]

Kn I 290 = P. bulbosa Cav. Bar 485: P. coeruleascens Def
Bon 349, Cote III 535. Fl. Frequent in fields from
upper end of Kneel Plain to the first gate. Conflicts some
modica (6-25-32 at work with Anagalled) salsos
with specimen off (6-28-32) and find just the
differences
