P 729 6-19-32 Pulicaria odor Relb. (See 6-5-32) frnta. 6-18-32 Limoniastrum monopetalum Bocc. Cate III/65, Bon 264. Fl Cult. Dirton wall & Baker. Terenus. I'rs seem to be 2 in each spikelet; the spikelets being grouped in 3 or 4 o's at each node long. The bract subtending the group is broad vien cup die oblique 'ardesc vill (Cate). Each spikelet has 2 defracts, the interior is thicd (Kronzbek), almost as long asely & slightly encloses the 2 fls (so strong tough that it is hard to open up); the other bract (present at least in some cases) is almost as long broadly linear-spatulate. Besides these there are subulate bracts which may sometimes take the place of bract [C] but P.A.K cannot be sure that the number varriament permits that they do so, and only do so. Base of corolla tube has 5 bright orange oblong elevations probably represents base of filaments but not sure. dull haira faint but agreeable mealy fragrance. Tings of plant rot easily in water. 6-18-32 Poireiana hillissii Hrob [= Caesalpinia -Wall] BM9 CP 425. Fl Col v fr seen. Garden, Tereno. Sepals (usually 3-4) large v light yellow-green, slong. Ccorae to 20X10mm., pubescent outside valves pro- vided with studded, red glands similar to those on upper part of st. v or pedicels. Filaments 3 in long, ± gland put inside at base. Ovary glan-
