6-16-32 Agave Iva Schreb (see 6-15-32) Fl. Rl from La Vileta to Cemetery, July; plant found. Corolla yellow like this is the form A. pseudo-Iva Benth. Bee 371. = A. — Rob. Cote III /33/. Upper lip of corolla truncate ventric. Corolla rather pale yellow but largest dots inside side v dotted purple. Corolla pubescent both sides, with ring of hairs near base of tube inside. Fil- aments hairy. Anther cells when open make cuticle look like small flat disks. Cf with Tenuiflora Cham. aedrya (6-15-32) for diff of genera. P 932 6-16-32 Linnaria lanigera Deaf Kutt 376, Bar Early 899 Fl. La Vileta. [This is prob L. found with but fls 5-13-32 (# 668) with L. commutata Benth near Establimts & seen again without fl. in field starting up Tex 6-10-32] In smallt. very alint petioled, lowest pair to 3 x 7.5 cm dentate towards base; uppermost less than 1 cm ventric. Upper lip of corolla deef shorter than lower lip vdy purple; lower lips white with purple blotches on palate. These blotches [not dots as in L. Commutata] (5-13-32) shows 4 irregular stripes, corolla 8 mm from top of ped to tip of lower lip. Spurs slender, acutes v not much enlarged at base is def curvds (5mm as straight line from base to tip). Pedall shorter than lor. Calyx lobes not at all narrow
