much alike but there are these def. differences. D.s-- Pedicles in fl. - 10 mm - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- 5 mm Pedicles in young fr. - 15 mm - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- 5 mm. Pedicles " " " curved so that - curved upward follicles point - v follicle erect. downward. Sepal limb - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- 1/3 mm apex - 8 mm - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- 5 mm spur - 2 1/2-3 mm - blunt ventric - blunt with 2 slight at tip - but def. horns a little at tip. Note: The comparative diff in length & gaper seems greater to the eye than these meas. would indicate. The shortest pedicels make D. p- much more compact & apical like, can't see the diff in petals, aug. by Cote. Follicles too young to tell but are 6-10-32. Variation in D.s- makes it likely this belonged to that species. [Later specimens of D. p- show the 2 species quite distinctly different.] 6-6-32 Vicia tetrasperma Moench var pubescens Bono Delay (See 5-5-32) Flalman type From Juss. Kennedy from Hole Blue.
